Vanessa VerLee: Yoga Classes

Vanessa brings sensitivity to each of her
classes. Her classes, interwoven with the teachings
of yoga and a consistent awareness on the breath,
focus on helping the student to learn to hear the body
and quiet the mind. Vanessa has been practicing yoga
since 1999, and teaching since 2002. Since her first
training thru Integral Yoga at Yogaville in Virginia,
she has been consistent in continuing her education,
studying with teachers including Judith Lasater,
Ramanand Patel, the Puri Family in Hardiwar, India,
and students of Ashokananda in Chaing Mai, Thailand.

GENTLE YOGA, Mondays 9:00-10:00 AM. Appropriate for all levels, including those new to yoga or working with limitations. Focus is on gentle streches, breathing and relaxation.
GENTLE YOGA, Mondays 2:00-3:15 PM. The gentlest and slowest of all classes I teach, this is a great class for anyone who is dealing with injuries, limitations or would just enjoy a slower practice.
YOGA BASICS, Mondays and Wednesdays 3:45 to 4:50 PM. Geared to those new to yoga, or wanting a slower, more instructive practice. Focus is on the execution of the postures and breath work.
RESTORATIVE YOGA, Fridays 6:20-7:35 PM. Open to all levels, very slow and still practice, come for 75 minutes of deep relaxation and renewal. Live Singing Bowls played in class by Jeremy Rourke on the second and last Fridays of each month.
